Oak Environmental's SHP (slim hole piston) pump is specially designed to meet the demands of sub-surface contaminant and contaminated groundwater extraction projects. The combination of rapid setup and low maintenance ensures efficient containment and recovery of sub-surface plumes. The SHP pump is cost effective with a proven track record on sites with chemical, oil, or gasoline spills.
Uses:
- Containment of contaminant by depression of the groundwater table
- Removal of contaminant or contaminated groundwater from the sub-surface
Advantages:
- No need to drill extra recovery wells - existing 50 mm (2 in) diameter well casings can be used
- Maintains high pumping efficiency for extended durations
- Low maintenance requirements
- Self-contained and portable
- Continuous operation from zero to 100 per cent of maximum design flow (pump is not damaged even if borehole runs dry)
