Terry McNeill

Terry McNeill is a third generation Calgarian. He grew up on the family farm located west of Calgary and developed much of his mechanical ability as a teen working with worn out equipment and using what ever was at hand to keep the equipment operational.

In 1979, Terry went to work full time for McPherson and Thom installing farm and rural subdivision water systems. While working for McPherson & Thom, he started supplying equipment to consulting and engineering firms for environmental remediation purposes. In 1986, Terry was offered the opportunity to manage Oak Environmental.

Since that time, Terry has been responsible for growing Oak into the company it is today - a company that provides expertise, equipment and services to the environmental industry throughout Canada and the U.S. and in numerous locations throughout the world.

Terry is married and has two daughters, one son and four grandchildren. He values time with his family and has a genuine concern for the future of our environment.

Frank Magdich joined Oak as a partner in 2006.   During the past 20 years, he has gained experience in a variety of the geoscience disciplines including mining, geotechnical, hydrogeological and environmental.  He was born in Calgary but has been fortunate to have worked, lived and travelled throughout Canada , the US and overseas.  Frank has received a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Engineering from the University of British Columbia .   Some of his relevant employment experiences include: Western Mining Corp in Australia ; RST Instruments in Vancouver ; and Schlumberger Water Services in Atlanta and Sacramento .  

At Oak, Frank focuses primarily on business development, continuing to expand Oak’s technical expertise and maintaining the high level of customer service for which Oak is known.  His goal is to guide Oak’s continued growth as a key resource for our clients who require knowledgeable assistance when sourcing equipment and technologies.  

Professional affiliations include APEGAA, IAH, CIM, CGS and NGWA.  

Frank is kept busy outside work with his young and rambunctious family.

Wesley has been with Oak since March of 2003.  Besides being Operations Manager, he is the IT department, and wears many hats in the day to day operation of the company.  He has fourteen years experience in the environmental industry, and teaches seminars on sampling equipment and methods.  Wesley also owns Better Earth Environmental, and is dedicated to keeping E waste out of the landfills. He is an accomplished actor, musician and comedian.  His sense of humor is definitely an asset to the company.  

Lorenzo is our shop foreman, and is a journeyman electrician.  He is family focused, and is the backbone of the operation.  He has been with Oak for twenty one years.

Tracy McNeill

Tracy joined Oak Environmental in 2004, and is our accountant.  She is highly organized and efficient in her daily activities, and has kept our paperwork flowing smoothly.  Tracy has an upbeat attitude and an infectious enthusiasm.  

Sara Stewart

Sara started at Oak Environmental in May of 2007 after finishing an Environmental Technologies diploma program at SAIT. Sara is originally from Rocky Mountain House.

She is one of the lab technicians at Oak, and is very proficient with our rental equipment.  Sara is personable, a great team leader, and well liked by everyone.
